It’s been far too long since our last update, and I want to start by thanking each and every one of you for your patience and continued support. I know it’s been a while, but I’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you an even better Corpse Mansion experience.

I had hoped to have this update ready before the end of the year, but unfortunately, things just didn’t work out that way. However, I didn’t want to leave you all in the dark, so I’m excited to share a sneak peek of what’s to come.

New Starting Point

The game’s starting point has been changed. Cole will now begin his journey on his home street, searching for a way into Helga City to uncover the truth about Morgan’s disappearance at the ProtoGen BioTech facility. This change adds a new layer of depth to the story and allows players to explore part of Cole’s neighborhood, scavenging for new loot and meeting new survivors to interact with.

New Custom Artwork & More Explorable Areas

I’ve commissioned additional custom artwork to further enrich the game’s atmosphere and storytelling. These new assets will help bring the world of Corpse Mansion to life like never before. Here are some of the changes you can expect to see in the next build:

Animated Garage Doors

Enhanced Story Impact

Player choices will now have a significant impact on the storyline and game world, allowing for a more dynamic and immersive experience. Your decisions will help shape the narrative, leading to more engaging gameplay while adding that replayability factor to the mix.

Improved Option Menu

The option menu has received a visual overhaul, now featuring high-quality icons that match the aesthetic of the inventory icons. This update ensures a more cohesive and polished look throughout the game.

Explore and Survive

The new starting area will offer plenty of opportunities to explore, scavenge, and meet new survivors. Be sure to investigate Cole’s street thoroughly, as you never know what hidden dangers or unexpected allies you might encounter.

What’s Next?

As we step into 2025, I can confidently say that it’s going to be an exciting year for Corpse Mansion. Let’s just say that we have some surprises in store for you, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Stay tuned for this next big update, and thank you again for being part of the Corpse Mansion community!

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and support! I'm thrilled that you're excited about the new changes and improvements coming to Corpse Mansion. I appreciate your patience as I work on getting the next update ready. Unfortunately, I've hit a bit of a snag - Steam dropped support for Mac, which I've been using for development. I'm currently in the process of building a new PC, and as soon as it's up and running, I'll be diving back into development. I'll make sure to keep you updated on my progress and let you know as soon as the next build is on the horizon. Thanks again for your understanding and I look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
